Latest buzz is that 'PK' has become the first film of India that will be tracked by Rentrak. For the records, Rentrak is the official agency that gives accurate box office figures of Hollywood films.

In fact, Aamir Khan has been heard raising up the issue of fudged numbers being let out by filmmakers since sometime now and he is more than happy about Rentrak entering our markets.

There is a lot of intrigue around their upcoming film and it has become the most awaited film. Hence, Aamir, Rajkumar Hirani and Vidhu Vinod Chopra signed up for Rentrak as they got to know about it.

Despite Aamir Khan's 'Ghajini' being the first film to enter the 100 crore club, Rajkumar Hirani's '3 Idiots' being the first film to enter the 200 crore club and Aamir's 'Dhoom 3' being the first film to enter the 300 crore club, they don't make films to enter any particular number clubs specifically.

This team believes in being a part of the Good films club. ''Commencing Rentrak operations in India, with tracking Box Office Data for PK, is not only a landmark for Rentrak, but also for the Indian movie Industry. Rentrak brings to India the expertise and experience of measuring Box office and serving Movie Industries in 40 countries including Hollywood," said Arturo Guillen, VP -Rentrak, Europe, Middle East & Africa.

He further added, "We trust the world will get to appreciate the true potential of Indian Cinema, as much as Indian Industry gets to realize its own potential through the tools that Rentrak has created. Rentrak connects the world to the Indian Movie Industry and Indian Movie Industry to the world in a better manner and provides great insights into the passion Indian audiences have for Cinema."
