Music director turned hero Vijay Antony was last seen as an upright cop in the action packed mass entertainer Thimiru Pudichavan directed by Ganesha and costarring Nivetha Pethuraj, and now the actor is starring in multiple movies in various stages of filming.

The actor had launched his next movie Thamizharasan last month and the movie is directed by Babu Yogeswaran who had previously directed the Jayam Ravi starrer Doss years back. This movie will reportedly again have Vijay Antony donning the Khaki after Thimiru Pudichavan.

The latest update from team Thamizharasan is that actress Sangeetha who was last seen in Neruppuda and known for her performances in movies like Pithamagan and Uyir will be seen playing an interesting and impactful role as a doctor. Thamizharasan also stars Remya Nambeesan, Suresh Gopi and Sonu Sood and has music by Isaignani Ilaiyaraja.
