'Pisasu 2' is an upcoming horror drama starring Andrea Jeremiah in the lead role under Mysskin's direction and produced by Muruganantham under the banner Rockfort Entertainment. The film is in the final stages of post-production and is expected to hit the theatres this year.

Earlier, there were speculations that Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi will be essaying a cameo role in Pisasu 2. In a recent interview, the maverick filmmaker Mysskin has said that Vijay Sethupathi will appear for around sixteen minutes in the movie. He also added that VJS expressed his interest to work with him and hence, he enhanced a character for him in Pisasu 2.

On the other hand, ace music composer Karthik Raja is marking his re-entry to Kollywood with Pisasu 2. He is the elder son of the legend Ilayaraja and a long-lost musician of Tamil cinema. Today, the first single 'Uchanthala Regayile' was released to the fans. Sid Sriram has rendered his voice for the song with the lyrics crafted by Kabilan.

The horror drama also has Rajkumar, who played the antagonist in Psycho, and Poorna in the crucial roles. On 3rd August, the makers took to social media to release the first-look poster which garnered a lot of attention. In one of the Pisasu 2 stills, Andrea sported the look of her grandmother from an old photograph.
