For the past few days, we have been hearing about two pirate sites that have scared Kollywood a big deal: Tamilrockers and Tamilgun. The former has now audaciously posted a statement that a good print of Thalapathy Vijay's 'Mersal' ('Adirindhi' in Telugu) will be available on the same day of the release, on Diwali (Oct 18).

To add insult to injury the pirates have also requested the people to continue to support their illegal venture.

The TFPC president, (actor) Vishal, is taking all-out measures to mitigate the scourge of piracy that is killing the industry. With more than Rs. 150 Cr riding on 'Mersal', it is imperative to take severe action to bring down the piracy sites. Fans and the general public also should shun away from these parasites.
