The VMAs was one of the best events that happened around which included the celebs open up about a lot of pressing issues while they accepted their awards. Be it Katy Perry talking about victims in Texas or Pink talking about a conversation she had with her daughter, Willow Hart, 6.

The songstress remembered the heartwarming conversation she had with her daughter about building up our self-esteem by accepting what we are but not by how others perceive us to be.

As you`d expect, the speech left many audiences with wet eyes from crying and cheering and clapping for the bold singer, who is always against the mainstream and usually goes with her own kind of aesthetic and authenticity.
