The team of Vicky Donor is back with 'Piku', produced by MSM Motion Pictures, Saraswati Entertainment Creations Limited and Rising Sun Films. As the trailer of the film will be unveiled today and also hit theater screens along with YRF's 'Detective Byomkesh Bakshi', the makers as a prelude to the trailer, launched a unique, quirky teaser that was well received and took the social media space by storm. The teaser features the star cast in an amusing argument over the film's trailer and promotions which not only trended on the day it was released, on a popular micro-blogging site, but also managed to pique audience curiosity with its simple yet complex nature.

Said a trade source, "The Piku teaser wasn't your regular, run of the mill teaser and reveals as much as it conceals. Also to see Mr.Bachchan in an all new avatar is an added treat to fans, not to mention, the subliminally conveyed warmth between him and Deepika Padukone which is a reflection of modern-day-society and something the Gen-X lot will relate to. What makes it even more interesting is that Irrfan is caught in the middle of the chaos and seems to essay the role of the mediator in the film".

A family comedy drama with some of the finest acting talent in the country today, Piku` is a roller coaster ride of a crazy father-daughter relationship essayed by Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone with Irrfan Khan top lining the cast, in a pivotal author backed role. Piku` also marks coming together of Shoojit Sircar, Ronnie Lahiri and Juhi Chaturvedi, the team that had scripted the sleeper hit ,Vicky Donor.

Produced by MSM Motion Pictures, Saraswati ENTERTAINMENT and Rising Sun Films, 'Piku', will release 8th May 2015.
