Director Sasi who has given commercial super hits and critically acclaimed Tamil films so far is all set to make a big bang reentry after many years in Tollywood .

His latest Tamil flick 'Pichaikkaran' starring Vijay Antony and Satna Titus in lead roles has been one of the big super hits of the year. Interestingly its Telugu dubbed version 'Bichagadu' has been a much bigger hit and it has turned out to be a blockbuster completing 50 days run in Telugu speaking states.

This has made Sasi as a hot property in Tollywood. The 'Roja Koottam' director is reported to have narrated a story to popular Telugu star Venkatesh. The veteran star seems to have liked Sasi's story instantly and has apparently given his nod to take it up as his next after 'Babu Bangaram' which is slated to release this week. The official announcement on Sasi-Venkatesh project can be expected to arrive soon.

This will be Sasi's reentry into the big Tollywood territory after many years. He has earlier directed 'Seenu' in 1998. The films tarring Venkatesh and Twinkle Khanna in lead roles is the Telugu remake of his debut Tamil film 'Sollamaley'

Meanwhile Sasi will also be directing his next Tamil film with G.V.Prakash Kumar and Siddharth in lead roles.
