Lisa Anderson, a 44-year-old woman from the UK, has been doing something unthinkable for the past 15 years. She has been consistently consuming at least 40g of Johnson's Baby Talcum Powder several times a day, as she has been addicted to the powder.
Some experts believe that the woman is suffering from pica syndrome, an eating disorder associated with a compulsion to eat non-food items.
Needless to say, the woman has put herself at an extreme risk of cancer. Talcum powder is deemed poisonous when inhaled or eaten," says a report. "The patient had been hiding her addiction from her near and dear ones. She would always go into the bathroom and have a tug of the powder every often. Her ex didn't know about it until recently," a report says.
