It's a well-known fact that Samantha Ruth Prabhu and entrepreneur-socialite Shilpa Reddy are good friends. The duo is currently on a Chota Char Dham trip in Uttarakhand. After visiting Yamunotri, they will be praying at Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath.

A pic of the duo was today shared by Shilpa Reddy on her Instagram handle. Although a born Christian, Samantha has been practising Hinduism as well. She regularly prays at Tirumala. Even before the announcement of her divorce from Naga Chaitanya, she visited the temple town with her team.

Meanwhile, the actress is looking at dragging to court two YouTube channels and a doctor by the name CL Venkata Rao over them making baseless allegations and casting aspersions about her character.

On Dasara, the 'Shaakuntalam' actress announced two new movies. One of them is a Telugu-Tamil bilingual to be helmed by Shantaruban Gnanasekaran, while the other one is helmed by Hari and Harish. Bankrolled by Sivalenka Krishna Prasad under Sridevi Movies, the film will hit the screens next year. Both the new announcements are yet to go on the floors.
