Rajinikanth on Thursday received his vaccination jab. The cine legend is currently in Chennai.

It was his daughter who put out the information on her social media handles. "Our Thalaivar gets his vaccine. Let us fight and win this war against Corona virus together (sic)," Soundarya Rajinikanth wrote.

The 'Kabali' actor yesterday flew back to Chennai after shooting for his upcoming movie 'Annaatthe' in Hyderabad in a private jet at the famous Ramoji Rao Film City. He shot for his scenes under extreme protection against the COVID 19 and has successfully completed his entire portions and returned home safely with the same precautions in effect.

It is said that after a few day's rest the actor will take a call on his next movie with a few top directors vying for the chance to direct him.

Coming to 'Annaathe', the film is directed by Siruthai Siva and is produced by Sun Pictures. Music is by D Imman. The ensemble cast comprises of Rajini, Keerthy Suresh, Nayanthara, Khushbu, Meena, Soori, Prakash Raj, Jackie Shroff and Jagapathy Babu. The release has already been planned for Diwali this year and the posptroducion is in full swing give fans a commercial entertainment treat.
