In an interview ahead of the release of 'Chaavu Kaburu Challaga' in March, the actress said, "Besides a Telugu film, I am doing a crime thriller in Tamil. I am listening to a lot of scripts these days."

The multi-lingual actress was recently in the news for setting up an eco-friendly cafe at her farmland in Chamasari, a hilltop near Mussoorie. As a believer in sustainable living, Lavanya wants the cafe to be nature-friendly. Besides being aesthetic, it will also be a place where they can unwind.
