As reported earlier, Tovino Thomas will be foraying into Tamil film industry with an upcoming Malayalam-Tamil bilingual directed by renowned cinematographer BR Vijayalakshmi. The latest that we hear is Pia Bajpai will be playing the female lead along with Suhasini, Prabhu and Rohini in pivotal roles.

The actress plays the role of Anu, a young organic farmer who is raised by a single mother essayed by Rohini in the film. The gorgeous actress who was last seen in 2013 in the films Aamayum Muyalum (Malayalam) and Nerungi Vaa Muthamidathe (Tamil) is making comeback with the Tovino starrer.

The film which tells a trendy love story of the contemporary youth will feature Tovino in the role of Abi, a software engineer. Ace cinematographer turned filmmaker Santhosh Sivan will be serving as an executive producer for this movie.

The movie has been extensively shot in Vagamon, Chalakudy, Erattupetta, Chalakkudy and Chennai, and is currently in the post-production stage. The movie is expected to hit screens by June this year.
