'Phantom': Hafiz Saeed demands a ban

Mumbai serial blast mastermind Hafiz Saeed wants Saif Ali Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer 'Phantom' to be banned in Pakistan. Jamat-ud-Dawah chief Hafiz Saeed has filed a plea in a court in Lahore, asking for Kabir Khan's Phantom's release to be banned in Pakistan.
Through his advocate A K Dogar, Hafiz Saeed pleaded in his petition filed in the Lahore High Court that the film has "venom against Pakistan and Jamaat-ud-Dawa" and contains "filthy propaganda" against the country.
The founder of the banned Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorist group, alleged in his petition that, "The film is about the 2008 Mumbai attack and global terrorism implicating the JuD. Filthy propaganda has been done in the film against Pakistan under subject of the world terrorism."
In Phantom, Saif Ali Khan plays the role of Daniyal, the man out on a mission to seek justice for the attacks that took place in Mumbai on 26/11. The film is an adaptation of Hussain Zaidi's recently released book Mumbai Avengers'. Phantom is about post-26/11 attacks in Mumbai and global terrorism.
