'Phalana Abbayi Phalana Ammayi' will be hitting the screens on March 17. Its pre-release event was held on Saturday.
Speaking on the occasion, Naga Shaurya said that the title of the film is drawn from casual language. "After this movie, I and Malvika Nair will be identified by 'PAPA'. Both my previous films with director Srinivas Avasarala were blockbusters. Our third film together will also become a blockbuster for sure. I have to talk about how much we worked hard to make this product. Hundreds of us worked hard for four years. It's not about money. It's about emotional investment. Despite incessant health issues, Avasarala rewrote his script and fine-tuned the product tirelessly. TG Vishwa Prasad garu is a fantastic producer with the right collaborations and script selections," the actor added.
Srinivas Avasarala said, "Our producers Vivek Kuchibotla garu and Vishwa Prasad garu are positive and spirited. Hats off to them. Their positive energy rubs onto the entire team. People Media Factory is charging ahead with important films. I am happy that two other producers (Prasad and Padmaja) are also making a debut with this film. Editor Kiran Ganti has done a great job. His is an invisible job. A favourite aspect of 'PAPA' is the actors and their performances. Naga Shaurya is a person with whom my career has been laced. If people appreciate my writing and directorial talent, it is because of the actors I work with. We shot 'PAPA' in the UK as well. We went there with a small crew. Despite all the challenges, Shaurya's performance and spirit kept me motivated throughout."
Adivi Sesh said, "People Media Factory's Vivek garu and Vishwa Prasad garu are my Goodachari's saviours and producers. So, being here today is emotional for me. 'PAPA' looks very interesting. As I was coming in the car, I watched the trailer and the vibes are Maestro Ilaiyaraaja-esque. Srinivas Avasarala's flavour and Kalyani Malik's music are the reason for it."
Bobby Kolli said, "I am here for the producers. Vivek garu is the first person I fall back on when I face difficulty. He is like an extended family. Vishwa Prasad garu is also one such person. They are producing a movie with Power Star, Prabhas garu. Coming to Naga Shaurya, he and his parents are committed to cinema. I like his screen presence. He believes in content-based cinema. I wish him all the best."
Kona Venkat said, "This is like a family event. I am close with the makers. Dasari Padma garu and Dasara Padmaja garu are debuting as producers. Prasad garu has been a good friend. It was in his house in California that we shot 'Ninnu Kori' (the house inhabited by Nani, Aadhi Pinisetty and Nivetha)."
