'Phalana Abbayi Phalana Ammayi' has got Naga Shaurya and Malvika Nair as friends who fall in love with each other. On Thursday, a song titled 'Kanula Chatu Meghama' was released. Composed by Kalyani Malik, who sees the song as the best one in his career, it is rendered by newcomer Aabhas Joshi. Aalap Lipsika lends her voice as the secondary singer.

Lakshmi Bhupala, who occasionally moonlights as a lyricist, enlivens the breakup anthem with a touch of pathos.

The makers are confident that this song is for the long haul. While such a music-based ghazal-inspired song is not for immediate gratification, it can grow slowly and surely. The picturization looks unfashioned and evolved. Director Srinivas Avasarala lets the lead pair behave as their characters. We see the heroine live in her own world in a wedding reception, while the hero is lost in thoughts.

Also featuring Megha Chowdhury, Ashok Kumar, Abhishek Maharshi, Srividhya, Varanasi Soumya Chalamcharla, Harini Rao, and Arjun Prasad, the film is produced by TG Vishwa Prasad and Padmaja Dasari. Co-produced by Vivek Kuchibhotla, this one has cinematography by Sunil Kumar Nama.

The plan is to release the movie on March 17.
