Superstar Rajinikanth's 'Petta', directed by Karthik Subbaraj and produced by Sun Pictures, was released on January 10, 2019. The film grossed over Rs 250 crore and was a huge success at the box office.

Today on the third anniversary of 'Petta' a deleted scene from the film has been released as a treat for the Thalaivar fans. The two minute video shows Rajinikanth having tea at a roadside shop and the villain Jithu played by Vijay Sethupathi arriving there and creating a ruckus.

While Rajini's friend played by Karthik Subbaraj's father begs him to leave the place the 'Petta' keeps ordering for tea to size up his opponent. The scene would have been a scream if it had released in theaters but apparently was cut out due to the already long duration of the completed film.
