The pretty Trisha had begun her career playing a supporting role in Jodi(1999), the romantic entertainer that had Simran playing the female lead, and after years of wait for fans to witness them together on screen, the numerous fan requests were answered recently with Karthik Subbaraj's Petta, where both the actresses paired with Superstar Rajnikanth.

Though Petta had them both, they never shared screen space, and here comes the big breaking news on their next. Trisha and Simran will be acting as the leads in an upcoming movie directed by Sumanth Radhakrishnan, who had previously directed Sathuram 2, the intense thriller on the lines of Saw.

Produced by All In Pictures, this yet to be titled flick starring Trisha and Simran, is expected to begin rolling soon, and more announcement will be out in the coming days. With the craze of both Trisha and Simran at an all time high after Jaanu and Petta happened, this movie is sure to be one of the most expected ones of the year!
