Rapolu Bhaskar, a lawyer, has filed a petition in the High Court of Andhra Pradesh against the reality show Bigg Boss-2.  His contention is that the show is harassing its contestants by locking them up in a house.  He has urged the court to consider it as a case of human rights violation.  As per him, the show also sends wrong signals to youngsters.

The premise of the petition is flimsy.  It's highly unlikely that the court will see any substance in it.  The contestants are sane adults who can take their own decision.  What the lawyer sees as harassment, the contestants and the audience see as entertainment.

Such insubstantial petitions were filed in the past too against such shows.  The real problem lies with shows that manipulate children.
