Shocking : Court accepts petition seeking ban on Vijay’s ‘Puli’

Producers P.T. Selvakumar and Shibu Thameens along with director Chimbudevan are working round the clock to ensure a smooth release of their magnum opus ‘Puli’ starring Vijay, Prabhu, Shruti Haasan, Sridevi and Sudeep.

A bit of a hiccup to the proceedings has occurred as Anbu Rajasekar who filed a case against Vijay and A.R. Murugadoss claiming that ‘Kaththi’ is copied from his short film ‘Thaagabhoomi’ has filed a new petition in the Thanjavur court seeking a ban on ‘Puli’ till his case is resolved.  The judge has admitted this petition and has adjourned the hearing for the 28th of this month.  We do hope that this roadblock does not hinder ‘Puli’,  the most awaited film of the year from hitting the screens worldwide on the 1st of October.
