Actress Vanitha Vijayakumar got married on Saturday to filmmaker Peter Paul with her two daughters from previous marriages Jovika and Jaynitha as bridesmaids. According to Christian customs, the groom kissed the bride and the happy pictures of the wedding went viral on the internet.

Meanwhile Peter Paul's first wife Elizabeth Helen lodged a complaint against her estranged husband at Vadapalani police station claiming that he has gone ahead with his second marriage without procuring a divorce from her. She has stated in her petition that the couple have two children and have been separated for the past seven years.

Netizens are questioning why Elisabeth Helen waited till the marriage is over to lodge her complaint and not when the news was announced in the media a week back. Both Vanitha and Peter were not available for comments.
