Sexy siren Mallika Sherawat and 'Kolaveri' actor Dhanush have been voted as the hottest vegetarians by the PETA (People for Ethical Treatment for Animals). Mallika and Dhanush won this poll by PETA despite competition from other film stars including Amitabh Bachchan, Hema Malini, Kareena Kapoor, Shahid Kapoor, Sonu Sood and others.

While an excited Mallika said, The best thing about being a vegan is my clear conscience, Dhanush expressed, Being a vegetarian makes me feel healthy and light. I'm helping the environment each time I'm eating a meal so I'm proud.

The winners were chosen based on the total number of votes they received in the poll along with a few other criteria.
