The People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), an organisation working for the well-being of four-legged creatures, has thanked Trisha for her care and compassion towards animals.
In a message to the actress, Sachin Bangera, senior co-ordinator, media and communications, PETA said, ÂWe were so happy to learn more about your animal rescue work. You are such a wonderful example for others to follow.Â
ÂThanks for extending your support to our campaign to encourage the public to adopt Indian community dogs, he added. Also, as a token of appreciation, the organisation has also sent a t-shirt for Trisha and her dog.
Expressing happiness, Trisha, who has always been advocating for the cause of showing love towards street dogs, says, ÂReceived the sweetest card from my PETA family. I was so touched and felt like every little thing we do to help animals is worth the effort.Â
