Pesu: Less dialogues, more drama

'Pesu', a movie made with just two colours in the backdrop, is ready for a release. Siril, who has worked with the likes of Durai, Kalaprabhu and Kathir, has directed the film.
It is a romantic entertainer which has less dialogues but more drama in it. The story begins in winter and ends spring. Hence we chose to shoot the film with two colours in the backdrop, says Siril.
An MBA graduate J Vignesh plays the lead role, while Vipa, who acted in 'Leelai' plays the female lead. Mahadevan, M S Baskar, Rajalakshmi and Sachu are also in the cast.
The highlight of the movie is dialogues by S Ramakrishnan. An acclaimed writer, his dialogues would entertain the youngsters. Half-a-dozen songs set to tunes by Yuvan Shankar Raja would be another attraction.
Cinematographer Rasapathy has shot the songs with state-of-the-art equipment, according to the director. Produced by Super Springs Entertainment, 'Pesu' was shot in Udhagamandalam, Kulu Manali, Goa and its adjoining areas.
