Known for naming films after towns, Perarasu says he would try something different from his next movie. The director, who is currently busy making ‘Thiruthani’, also says he learnt lessons from his past.

“Instead of asking what would be my next film, many have started asking me as to where would be my next trip. Though naming movies after places gave me an identity, I have decided to attempt something new from my forthcoming venture,” he says.

Saying that ‘Thiruthani’, the Bharath-Sunaina starrer would be a mix of everything, the director says: “Besides, the film will come with a message that youngsters should do good for the society and the country.”

The filmmaker, who is taking the avatar of a music composer in ‘Thiruthani’, says, “I have also penned lyrics for all the songs. The music part was completed in less than a month.”
