Kannada actor Yash has been active in the entertainment industry for approximately two deacdes but in 2018, he became a national superstar owning to the phenomenal success of his film 'KGF: Chapter 1'. Apart from making Yash a household name throughout the country, 'KGF' also proved to be beneficial for Kannada cinema as a whole.

While speaking at a recent public event in Mysore, Yash recalled that after the success of 'KGF', some people mistook his self confidence as a mark of arrogance. He said, "Everyone should have a crazy amount of self-confidence. Would you have ever believed the kind of respect that Kannada cinema is enjoying across India was possible to achieve earlier? I don’t have any hesitation to talk about it. Because there should always be positive energy around. When I spoke with self-confidence like this a few years ago, some may have thought I was arrogant."

Yash concluded by saying, "Let me tell you something, when everything you talk, think and do is good, all the rest of the things will fall in place. You will find a group of people who also believe in good. One man cannot do anything. Join forces with good people."
