Keerthy Suresh's 'Penguin' will start premiering on Amazon Prime Video on June 19. Directed by Eashvar Karthick, the film has been touted to be a distinct thriller.

Speaking to The NewsMinute, the star actress says that 'Penguin is more of an emotional thriller than just a thriller. "It will connect with a wider audience. My character's name in the film is Rhythm and I have a son. Children, too, will be able to connect with the drama," Keerthy says, adding that the film is intense.

Playing a pregnant woman was not easy. She had to bring look the part. "When it came to playing actor Savitri (in Nag Ashwin's 'Mahanati'), bringing out a real person on screen was a different approach altogether and with Rhythm, it was concerned with playing a pregnant woman,” the 'Sarkar' and 'Miss India' actress adds.

'Penguin' releases in Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam.
