Pencil
'Pencil' has been directed by debutant Mani Nagaraj, a former associate of director Gautham Menon. The film stars G.V.Prakash Kumar and Sridivya in lead roles. It has been produced by Ragavesh under Kalsan Movies banner.
This is the first film G.V.Prakash started his journey as an actor and should have released as his debut flick. But the film that went on floors in early 2014 has been delayed due to various reasons and today GVP is a well established hero with two super hits and a number of acting films under his kitty. Sridivya started acting in this film after the debut film 'Varuthapadadha Valibar Sangam'.
'Pencil' is a thriller flick set in a school. Both GVP and Sridivya play higher secondary students in the film. VTV Ganesh,Urvashi, TP Gajendran, Abhishek, Rahman and many other prominent artists have played supporting characters.
G.V.Prakash Kumar has given the musical score apart from acting in the film. Cinematography is by Gopi Amarnath and Anthony has handled the Editing
PVS Cinemas has acquired the rights of releasing 'Pencil' which has acquired a U/A certificate from Censor Board. The film has been scheduled to hit the screens on May 13, 2016.
