'Pelli Choopulu' pulls off yet another remake

'Pelli Choopulu', unarguably one of the most sought-after Tollywood movies of the decade, has been getting plum offers from other languages. It all began with someone from Salman Khan's camp evincing interest in remaking it in Bollywood. Later, Gautham Menon's camp acquired the Tamil remake rights of the Vijay Devarakonda-Ritu Varma blockbuster.

It's now the turn of Sandalwood to remake it. Actor Gurunandan will reprise Vijay's role, whereas Sharddha Srinath of 'U-Turn' fame will reprise Ritu. Murali, a choreographer-turned-director will wield the megaphone.
