After registering impressive numbers during its extended opening weekend, Peddi faced its first major box-office challenge on Monday. For any big-ticket release, weekday collections often determine the film’s long-term prospects, and the rural sports drama has successfully cleared that hurdle with a steady hold at the box office.
The film reportedly collected around Rs 14 crore gross in India on Monday, showcasing strong momentum despite the expected weekday slowdown. The performance indicates that audience interest remains intact and that positive word-of-mouth is helping the film sustain its run.
Adding to its momentum, Peddi is said to have sold nearly 1.74 lakh tickets on BookMyShow on Monday, reflecting healthy audience engagement across key markets.

With Monday’s collections, the film has now crossed the Rs 201 crore gross mark in India. Overseas, Peddi has reportedly amassed around Rs 40 crore gross, taking its worldwide total to an impressive Rs 241 crore gross in just five days.
While the film’s performance has not been uniform across all territories, it continues to show resilience. The Hindi version is yet to make a significant impact, and collections in Telangana remain below initial expectations. However, the film is performing exceptionally well in Andhra Pradesh, where it continues to attract strong footfalls and maintain solid occupancy levels.
The sustained collections suggest that the film has struck a chord with audiences, particularly in its core markets. If it continues to hold well during the weekdays, Peddi could be on course for an even stronger box-office run in the coming days.
Directed by Buchi Babu Sana and produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru, Peddi stars Ram Charan, Janhvi Kapoor, Shiva Rajkumar, and Jagapathi Babu in pivotal roles.
