Pretham is getting rave reviews and is running in full houses wherever released. The film belongs to the genre of comedy-horror-thriller and says the story of a mentalist which is a new attempt in Mollywood. Mentalism is performed by blending both art and science. The character is inspired from a real mentalist called Aathi. Earlier videos of Aathi and Jayasurya in a restaurant have surfaced as part of the promotion of the film.

Now the makers have released a deleted scene of the movie which is very funny and interesting to watch. In the scene Jayasurya as a mentalist tries to manipulate the thoughts of Peale Maaney`s character and reads the mind of her.
