The multilingual movie ‘Pazhassi Raja’ is said to be made with a whooping budget of 20 crores. However the movie made about two crores in the first few shows itself. As per trade sources 'Pazhassi Raja' has grossed over five crores from all the major theatres in a record time of nine days. Released in more than 120 centers across the state, the movie is expected to make the money soon.

On the other hand Malayalam movie is receiving many accolades from audience and critics.

It happened that the film’s team arranged for a special screening of the Tamil version of ‘Pazzhasi Raja’ in Chennai for our CM M.Karunanidhi. Following that, CM called up Mammootty on Thursday evening and conveyed his appreciation for the Malayalam star’s performance in the film.

The movie is expected to be released in other languages by the end of this month.

Producer by Gokulam Gopalan, ‘Pazhassi Raja’ was directed by Hariharan and features Mammootty, Sarath Kumar, Manoj K Jayan, Suman, Kanika and Padmapriya.
