B-town hot and beautiful Payal Rohatgi after making her presence felt on the big screen is now all set to take the small screen by storm. Making her debut with a full-fledged role, Payal will be seen in Sony Entertainment Television's show Humsafars. Having been part of reality shows earlier, this is the first time Payal will be seen in a fiction show where she plays the role of Anam. Anam is an ambitious, career driven woman whose marital status does not deter her from making strong career choices.

Speaking about her role, Payal says, "My role in Humsafars is very interesting and unlike any role I have done in the past. Anam is a strong character with a few shades of grey. I had been contemplating working on fiction show for some time and Humsafars seemed like the perfect choice. The entire cast is very nice and supportive and the response so far to the show has just been great!"

While the on screen action is in full force, there is enough masti happening off screen as well. While shooting for her entry scene, Payal Rohatgi's phone rang loudly twice. On the sets of Humafars, whoever's phone rings has to either pay a fine of Rs.750 or buy ice cream for the entire unit. While Payal has bought ice-cream for everyone once, her second fine is still pending!
