Payal Rohatgi comes out in support of Sajid Khan

Filmmaker Sajid Khan has been facing a lot of backlash ever since he has been introduced as a contestant on the upcoming season of 'Bigg Boss'. Apparently he was accused of sexual misconduct by multiple actresses during the MeToo moment and that's the reason why people don't want to see him in the show. Actress Mandana Karimi, who is an alleged victim of Sajid, has even quit Bollywood as a sign of protest against the controversial filmmaker.
Amidst all this backlash, Sajid has found himself a supporter as well. Payal Rohatgi has stated that Sajid has every right to work and make a living for himself and she also slammed Mandana Karimi for doing the drama of quitting Bollywood.
Taking to her Instagram stories, Payal wrote, “Sajid Khan has done wrong with 6 women as they narrated publicly. He has been reprimanded by all and publicly humiliated for his actions. Now the 6 women can take him to court. But let me put it no record when even murderers have been given the right to reform by the values of Mahatma Gandhi then here even Sajid Khan has the right to live. He has the right to earn money. He has the right to repent. Let him fight for his right. You oppose him but don’t do the drama of quitting Bollywood.”
Quoting a statement that read, This (Bollywood) is no place to work, it has no respect for women, Payal said, You should not stay in Iran too as women aren’t respected there either.”
