Power Star Pawan Kalyan has categorically said that he will give up films after doing 2 or 3 more films. In his latest interview to a national film critic, he has made this sensational remark.

"I think I will do 2 or 3 films more. After that I will give up films. It's a commitment I made to myself years ago. I want to give my full attention to politics right from the 2019 elections onwards," Pawan said.

When asked as to what will happen to Pawanists, he laughed and said, "I don't know. I am going to take up a bigger responsibility. There are lots of others to entertain. This is what my heart is saying".

Pawan further said that the thought of getting into politics was there for more than 20 years. "At an age when others would read comics, I would read headlines. I was inspired by the social work done by others, by the freedom movement. Maybe, I had a good social teacher," he said.
