In the film on Jesus Christ, where Pawan will be playing the divine character Himself, the Power Star will be sharing screen space with an Anglo-Indian actress. Director Singeetham Srinivasa Rao has zeroed in on the right face after much searching for the suitable girl. Thankfully, Pawan too is said to be fine with the selection.

The actor is currently busy shooting for Vishnuvardhan's Kali and will get back to work on the Jesus film once he completes this assignment. The multi-lingual film on the Prophet will be released simultaneously in English, Hindi, Telugu and Tamil.

The prestigious project is being made at a considerable budget. Produced by Konda Krishnamraju of Aditya Productions, the film was announced sometime last year. Though it was expected to be shot at a stretch, it fell off for some reasons. It is reasonably guessed that Singeetham will complete it in the next schedule whenever it commences.
