How much did distributors lose because of the multi-crore failure called 'Agnyaathavaasi'? Did they get compensation for their mistake of buying the disastrous film? Trivikram Srinivas himself has opened up on the issue.
"We came to know that the film made huge losses. The distributors had bought it for Rs. 90 crores. They earned Rs. 60 crores. Which means they made losses to the tune of Rs. 30 crores. I, Pawan Kalyan garu and our producer chipped in with Rs. 25 crores. We gave back the money to whoever made losses within a week of the film's release. I am not saying this to brag about our 'greatness'. Kalyan garu strongly believes that those who keep faith in us shouldn't face ruin," the 'Matala Mantrikudu' tells a Telugu daily.
He adds, "Kalyan garu is my friend. I always wish well for him. As a person, he is a very nice man. He never desires for what belongs to others. He is against enriching oneself by exploiting others."
