SJ Suriyah's maiden outing with Pawan Kalyan resulted in a sensation called 'Khushi'. The 2001 blockbuster changed the way heroes were looked at by the Telugu audience. Nearly fifteen years after the super hit, SJ Suriyah has developed a sequel script of 'Khushi' to direct Pawan once again.

The movie will be produced by Sharrat Marar. He is the producer of Sardaar Gabbar Singh, too

Pawan is keen on shooting for the film from April itself. He has asked SJ Suryah to complete all pre-production works by the end of March.

AR Rehman will team up with Suriyah and Pawan for the first time since 'Komaram Puli'.

It will be interesting to see if Pawan recreates the magic of 'Khushi', whose sequel is touted to be a coming-of-age romantic film.
