Pawan, Mahesh: Why are they doing it fast?

For the first time since 2006 when two films of Mahesh hit the screens (Pokiri, and Sainikudu), it was in 2014 again that he had two films in one year - 1-Nenokkadine, and Aagadu. The Prince is going to repeat this feat this year. Months after Brahmotsavam, which will release in the last week of April or first week of May, his film with AR Murugadoss will hit the marquee, most probably for Diwali.
As for Pawan Kalyan, he will have his first release in nearly three years this April, if Gopala Gopala is not counted because of its status of a multi-starrer. To make sure that he is in the reckoning more often, he has zeroed in on a remake (Ajith's Vedhalam), which will be wrapped up sooner than later to ensure a release by this year end or even before that. The last time that such an urgency was seen was for Cameraman Ganga Tho Rambabu. It is another matter that, it was because of Puri Jagannadh's ability to complete a film in a short time.
The similarity between the two reigning superstars is there for all to see. Both are working hard to ensure that there are two releases this year.
What could be the reason for they trying it very hard to make it fast?
A most probable reason is that want to strike the iron when it is hot. They are enjoying a massive market now by virtue of being two of the greatest matinee behemoths in the country. Another reason is that they have one too many offers on hand and they don't want to lose out on a couple of very good ideas.
Interestingly, while Pawan may be wishing to mint money by making a few more films under his home production, Mahesh too might have certain such plans!
As for the Telugu cine fans, exciting days are ahead!
