Pawan Kalyan and Mahesh Babu had done something unexpectedly similar on Friday.  If the former did it in real life, the latter pulled it off brilliantly in reel life!

Yesterday was a watershed in the history of Pawan's relationship with big media.  He ripped apart most top TV channels, deemed to be opinion-makers because of their sheer reach.  

Mahesh Babu's 'Bharat Ane Nenu' released on such a day.  In a particular scene, which has come to be described as the 'press meet' scene, Bharat trashes sensationalism by the media.  This emotional outburst comes as a defining scene in the climax.

There is a crucial difference, though.  While Mahesh in 'BAN' only accuses the Fourth Estate of wrong priorities/sensationalism/unethical journalism, the Jana Sena chief went a step ahead.  He accused the channels of being in cahoots with some political leaders.
