Days after Prabhodh, Prabhas' brother, was sentenced to one year's imprisonment in a cheque bounce case, another producer has been sentenced to a similar term in a similar case. It's Singanamala Ramesh, who famously produced Pawan Kalyan's Puli and Mahesh Babu's Khaleja simultaneously.
Rajsekhar Reddy, a resident of Banaganepalle in Kurnool district, filed a complaint against Singanamala Ramesh, alleging that a cheque issued by him was dishonoured due to lack of adequate funds. A Kurnool magistrate court sentenced Ramesh to one year's imprisonment on finding conclusively that he indeed had dishonoured his commitment.
It may be remembered that Ramesh was in news when it was widely alleged that he had had relations with Bhanu Kiran, the convict in the murder of Maddelacheruvu Suri.
