Actor-turned-politician Pawan Kalyan’s Jana Sena Party has asked choreographer Jani Master to step away from party activities following allegations of sexual assault against him. The party, led by Pawan Kalyan, who currently serves as the Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, released an official statement distancing itself from Jani Master after a 21-year-old woman choreographer accused him of repeated sexual abuse. Jani Master, known for choreographing popular films like *Stree 2*, *Jailer*, *Radhe*, and *Baahubali*, had previously campaigned for the Jana Sena Party during the Andhra Pradesh elections.

Jana Sena Party Distances Itself from Jani Master

Jani Master had a close working relationship with Pawan Kalyan, having supported his political campaigns. However, the party swiftly moved to dissociate from him following the allegations. The official statement, shared on the party's social media page, reads, Shree Shaik Jani is away from party activities. The party also clarified that the decision came after a case was filed against Jani Master, and it took immediate effect.

FIR Filed Against Jani Master

The complaint, filed by the young woman, alleges that Jani Master sexually assaulted her on multiple occasions. The police have charged Jani Master under sections 376(2)(n) (repeated rape), 506 (criminal intimidation), and 323 (voluntarily causing hurt) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). An investigation is currently underway.

Allegations of Threats and Repeated Assaults

According to the FIR, the woman joined Jani Master's team as an assistant choreographer in 2019. She claims that during a work trip to Mumbai, Jani Master assaulted her in a hotel and threatened to fire her if she disclosed the incident. Despite her silence, the harassment allegedly continued during other projects. The complaint also states that on August 17, 2024, while she was returning home from a temple, she was threatened by an unknown person, further adding to the gravity of the situation.
