Global Star Ram Charan's new film Game Changer is heading for a grand release on the 10th of this month. Kiara Advani plays the leading lady, and Shankar directs the film. The makers held a grand pre-release event yesterday, and Pawan Kalyan was the chief guest.
Andhra Pradesh Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan, addressing the Game Changer event, began with warm greetings to attendees, viewers, and fans, humorously including his supporters. He paid homage to cinema pioneers like Raghupathi Venkaiah Naidu, Dadasaheb Phalke, Raj Kapoor, and Satyajit Ray. He remembered stalwarts of Telugu cinema such as Nagi Reddy, BN Reddy, Ramabrahmam, NT Rama Rao, and ANR.
Pawan Kalyan shared memories of watching Shankar’s Gentleman and Premikudu, admiring the director's knack for blending entertainment with social messages. He expressed pride in South Indian filmmakers like Shankar and Rajamouli, who have taken regional cinema to global heights.
Recalling his bond with Dil Raju, Pawan Kalyan noted that the producer’s faith in him during difficult times with films like Toli Prema and Vakeel Saab was pivotal. He revealed that the earnings from Vakeel Saab supported his political journey with Janasena.
Speaking about Ram Charan, he recounted how his father named Charan with the virtues of Anjaneya Swamy in mind—strength, humility, and devotion. Pawan Kalyan likened Ram Charan to a brother, praising his incredible performance in Rangasthalam and his rise as a global star, crediting Chiranjeevi’s inspiration. Pawan Kalyan described Ram Charan as humble and grounded, noting his dedication to traditions like Ayyappa Mala, which reflects his spiritual discipline.
