Pawan Kalyan has nominated Thota Chandrasekhar, a retired IAS officer, as the chief secretary of Jana Sena. The appointment was made official at the party's central office in Hyderabad.
After the announcement, the chief said, "I have had personal intimacy with Sri Chandrasekhar for the last ten years. He resigned from his post during his working years and entered politics in 2009. He has worked since then with the same commitment. He has stood firm in politics despite not having any political achievements. This time, we all strive to send him to the Assembly. His command and competence over civil administration are immense."
Accepting the appointment, Chandrasekhar said, "I am one among lakhs of people who are drawn to Pawan Kalyan for his personality, character, ideals and principles. I felt happier today, than I felt on receiving the appointment letter on being selected for civil services in 1987. Getting selected in the hands of Sri Pawan kalyan is not an ordinary thing. He selects only those who have the quality of serving the people. He works tirelessly and doesn't lose energy even if he works till 2am or 3am in the morning."
The party also confirmed the appointment of Hariprasad as the political secretary to the party leader. Radha Madhav is the chairman of the party president's social welfare programme. He did his Agricultural M.sc, and masters degree in Social sciences.
