There has been a tonal shift in Pawan Kalyan's tweets/retweets. Of late, the Jana Sena supremo has become a Dharmic champion of the cause of Hindu-Muslim unity.
The actor-politician's posts say it all. On Tuesday, the 'Vakeel Saab' actor shared a post whose ostensible aim is to drive home the message of religious amity in India. "A Hindu family arranges Iftar for a Muslim boy stranded in Majuli Assam due to Lockdown. One more example of the unique culture of my country India. This is what our country India is famous for and this didn't happen anywhere else," the retweet reads.
In keeping with the Ramzan season, Pawan today posted a religious message from an Islamic handle. "The Holy Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: When someone is fasting, he should not indulge in foul talk, nor talk of wickedness or ignorance. If someone deals with him in ways of ignorance, he should simply respond, ‘I am fasting'," the post reads.
Power Star is seen making retweets close to the Hindutva brigade, like those from Hindutva activist Dr. David Frawley in particular.
One thing is becoming sure. The BJP has found its poster boy of Hindutva in Pawan Kalyan.
