Rana is one of the busiest actors in Tollywood. If in Ghazi he is playing a naval officer, he is working hard for Baahubali2. On the other hand, he is gearing up for Teja`s untitled project, and has given the nod for Bala and Palavaathevan projects. Thus, he is raring to be a versatile across three languages – Telugu, Tamil and Hindi. Besides all this, as we have already reported, Rana is keen to act in a remake of the Punjabi movie Sardaar Ji.

Director Vasu Varma of Josh and Krishnashtami fame, has bagged the rights of Sardaar ji from White Hill Prodcution. He has roped in Rana for the lead role.

Latest buzz is that the team of Vasu Varma have finalised the title Sardaar. We have to note that Power Star came as Sardaar Gabbar Singh this year, though movie was a huge failure at BO, the title Sardaar has been the most acclaimed one in the recent past. To get the initial kick, the makers have decided to keep the title which would also be perfectly apt for the script.

The movie Sardaar Ji has hit the screens and making tremendous collections all over Punjab. The film was completed at a cost of Rs. 20 crores and collected 50 crores and still counting.
