Days after Jana Sena Party chief Pawan Kalyan urged the AP government consider the demands of agri graduates with respect to the disabilities put on them by GO 64 (which allowed those from colleges having no ICAR accreditation land jobs in agri department), the government on Wednesday withdrew the GO.
And Pawan Kalyan has thanked it for the decision. "It's a great relief for agitating agriculture students that the GO has been canceled. I whole-heartedly thank the TDP govt, Hon'ble CM CBN garu, and the Hon'ble Min for Agri, Sri Somireddy Chandramohan Reddy garu for resolving the long-pending students' issue," Pawan said in a statement.
He didn't stop at merely thanking the government, but had a sermon for the students. "I also request the students to live up to their (noble) intentions. They have to serve and stand by our farmers, who are despaired. Wish them a productive future," he said.
