Actor and Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan has given an ear to the grievances of farmers from three villages (including Bhimavaram) from East Godavari district. The actor has been approached by the farmers to speak up against the proposed Aqua mega park in Bhimavaram by the AP government. The project will allegedly affect the livelihood avenues of fishermen and farmers in these areas. Earlier on Wednesday night, Pawan heard out fishermen from the region and assured them that he will take the issue up with the government.

It's at Image Gardens in Madhapur that the actor-politician has met the farmers.

The actor is reported to have assured the potentially aggrieved parties that he will fight for a development agenda that doesn't give a short shrift to public health, safety and ecological balance.
