Jana Sena chief and actor Pawan Kalyan on Tuesday met the students of the NG Ranga Agricultural University to brainstorm on the alleged potential negative fallout of GO No. 64.
The students reportedly impressed upon Power Star as to the impact of the GO on the quality of agri education as well as job opportunities.
The menace of fake certificates was also brought to Pawan's notice by the students.
Following the meeting, Pawan too to Twitter to make an appeal to the AP government.
"We have achieved Green Revolution by the efforts and expertise of scientists at Indian Agricultural Research Institute. Allowing those from colleges having no IARI accreditation and admitting fake degree-holders into the agri department will (eventually) ruin the economy and our farmers. This is a serious matter. I hope the AP Govt understands the serious implications of its GO," Pawan wrote.
