Bappi Lahiri's passing away has been condoled by the likes of Megastar Chiranjeevi and Nandamuri Balakrishna. Pawan Kalyan today issued a statement via Jana Sena chief and he talked about Bappi's inventive music.
"I am shocked to learn about Bappi Lahiri ji's demise. He created a niche for himself in the world of Indian film music. His songs mesmerized the Telugu audience as much as they floored the Hindi audience," the 'Bheemla Nayak' actor said.
The actor-politician said that the song 'Aajaa Aajaa' from 'Disco Dancer' is a timeless number that is heard in countries such as Russia to this day. Pawan said that actor Mithun Chakraborthy became more famous because of the song.
Pawan said that 'State Rowdy', 'Gang Leader' and 'Rowdy Alludu', featuring his brother Chiranjeevi as the hero, had the best songs from Lahiri.
