Power Star Pawan Kalyan's reading habits need no introduction. He has been into reading literature on politics, philosophy, religion and society since he was a teenager. His serious-minded temperament has won him admiration from co-stars and technicians alike, including the likes of Venkatesh and Trivikram Srinivas. His brother, Megastar Chiranjeevi, himself admires this trait of his. Curiously, his interaction with Renu Desai began because he exchanged books with her during the shoot of 'Badri'. A year later, they would find a soulmate in each other and live-in for more than a decade. Books, thus, have played a divine role in his life.

The news is that Pawan's one of the favourite books is learnt to be 'Thirukkural', the classic Sangham-era literature originally written in Tamil by the great Thiruvalluvar. A text full of timeless aphorisms, this one is among the most quoted texts. Pawan Kalyan for many years has reportedly made it a habit of carrying the English version of the Thirukkural wherever he goes.

So, folks, the next time Power Star speaks, make it a point to ask him about this intellectual endeavour of his.
